Ovid Library Hosts Food Drive for Seniors

The Edith B Ford Memorial Library in Ovid is hosting a community food drive in support of the South Seneca Seniors Community Project. The drive runs from December 8 through December 15, 2025. The drop-off location is at the Library.

The food drive welcomes donations from residents in Ovid, Interlaken, Romulus, Lodi, Covert, Trumansburg, Willard, and Ithaca. Items accepted include rice; boxed hamburger helper; boxed mac and cheese; stuffing; canned sauces; oats; boxed cornbread; canned fruits and vegetables; meats; premade meals; tortilla shells; and cake or brownie mix.
