**Syracuse University Offers Free Steering Wheel Locks to Prevent Vehicle Thefts**
On Friday, November 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Syracuse University will be distributing free steering wheel locks at the Hookway Athletic Field Lot. This initiative, organized by the Department of Public Safety (DPS) in collaboration with the Syracuse Police Department (SPD), aims to help prevent vehicle thefts on campus.
Members of the public are encouraged to visit during the event to obtain a free steering wheel lock. The distribution of these locks is part of a proactive approach to enhance vehicle security.
