Electric Trolley Offers Unique Baseball Excursion Experience
Lackawanna County is offering a unique way to enjoy a Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders baseball game. On select Sundays beginning May 18, visitors can ride the Electric City Trolley from downtown Scranton to PNC Field. The trolley departs at 12:15 p.m. with the game starting at 1:05 p.m.
A $25 ticket includes the round-trip trolley ride and the game ticket. Those who already have a game ticket can ride for $15. Reservations are required. For further details, interested parties can call 570-963-6590.
The baseball excursion schedule is as follows:
• May 18: Toledo
• June 1: Worcester
• June 15: Syracuse
• June 29: Worcester
• July 6: Lehigh Valley
• July 13: Buffalo
• Aug. 3: Nashville
• Aug. 17: Indianapolis
• Aug. 31: Syracuse
• Sept. 14: Lehigh Valley
The program continues on select Sundays throughout the summer of 2025.
