Ginger Gilday Arrested for Unauthorized Vehicle Use

On April 20, 2025, Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol members arrested 29‑year‑old Ginger D. Gilday of Skaneateles, NY, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a third degree class A misdemeanor. The incident came after a report received at approximately 10:46 PM on April 19, 2025, regarding a motor vehicle larceny at a residence in the Town of Cato. Deputies discovered that Gilday had taken possession of a vehicle from a relative’s house without permission. During the investigation, it was noted that the vehicle, while operated by Gilday, had been involved in a motor vehicle collision in Onondaga County, where she was arrested and subsequently released for collision-related offenses. Gilday was later arrested in Cayuga County for taking the vehicle without permission and was released with an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in Town of Cato Court on May 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
