Ontario County Economic Development Corporation (OCEDC) is hosting a series of informational sessions regarding its $2 million Vacant Rental Program. The program is a grant initiative funded by the State of New York and administered by the Housing Trust Fund Corporation’s Office of Community Renewal. It supports repairs and rehabilitation of vacant rental units and other vacant spaces.

The open houses provide details about the program and are free to attend. Sessions will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations:

• Canandaigua – April 23 at the Hurley Building, 205 Saltonstall Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424.

• Phelps – April 29 at the Phelps Community Center, 8 Banta Street, Phelps, NY 14532.

• Geneva – April 24 at Geneva BID, 1 Franklin Square, Suite 211, Geneva, NY 14556.

• Richmond – April 30 at Richmond Town Hall, 8690 Main Street, Honeoye, NY 14471.

Property owners, individuals, LLCs, nonprofits, and public entities are eligible to apply. Tenants and residents are not eligible.

No pre-registration is required for any session.
