Polk County Public Schools said it will hold an online recruitment event for teachers on Tuesday, June 23, from 2 to 4 p.m.

PCPS said interested applicants can find information and register for the event using this link: https://tinyurl.com/3akt82ha. Questions about teaching with PCPS can be sent to recruiters at jobs@polk-fl.net.

PCPS also said it is hiring bus drivers, attendants and a limited number of van drivers.

According to PCPS, full-time drivers start at $19.46 per hour. The district said it offers paid CDL training. PCPS also listed health insurance at no cost to employees and access to free PCPS employee health clinics, along with Florida Retirement System benefits, including pension or investment plans.

PCPS said drivers and attendants have a guaranteed schedule of at least seven hours per day.
