Livingston EMS Paramedic Wins Prestigious ALS Award

Livingston County EMS paramedic Meghan Kiefer has been named the recipient of the New York State EMS Council’s Advanced Life Support Provider of the Year Award. The award was presented at the New York State Vital Signs EMS Conference 2025 in Syracuse. Kiefer, who has been with Livingston County EMS since 2017, began her career as an emergency medical technician before becoming a paramedic. Earlier this year, she received a similar honor from the Monroe-Livingston Regional EMS Council when she was awarded the 2024 Advanced Life Support Provider of the Year Award.
