Hosmer Marks 50 Years at Annual Harvest Party

Hosmer Winery in Ovid, New York, announced an invitation for its annual Harvest Party, which has been renamed "Some Like it Hot." The event will feature a band, beer, games, and activities, and will begin at 1 p.m. rain or shine. This year's celebration is marked by the fact that it falls exactly 50 years after the event held on August 30, 1975.

The invitation includes details from the original event, held at "The Farm" in Ovid. It noted that the event was open to all ages and offered activities like grape stomping and a picnic starting at 4 p.m. Guests were requested to RSVP by August 15 by contacting Hosmer at 118 Circle Rd., Syracuse, New York, 13210, or by phone at 475-1509.

The winery is also sharing throwback posts every Thursday to commemorate 40 years of Hosmer Winery, inviting guests to revisit memories from past celebrations.
