The Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University hosted the 10th annual Orange Tank business pitch competition, where five student and alumni entrepreneurs presented their business ideas to a panel of judges. The event offered participants the chance to win cash prizes and receive feedback similar to that seen on the television show "Shark Tank."

The winners of the competition were as follows:

- **1st Place**: Tosin Alabi, a 2025 MBA student, with the business DiabeTech.

- **2nd Place**: Angelo Niforatos, who holds both a 2020 M.S. and a 2025 MBA, with Niffy Drone.

- **3rd Place**: Natasha Brao, who earned her degrees in 2022 and 2023 and is currently pursuing an MBA in 2024, with Shooka.

Other participants included Waqar Hussain, a 2025 MBA student with the venture Iconnic Cloud, and Emeka Ossai, also a 2025 MBA student, with CampusLabs.

The judging panel featured notable figures including:

- Vinny Lobdell Jr., an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist.

- Stacey Tank, the CEO of Bespoke Beauty Brands.

- Buddy Valastro, a celebrity baker and business owner.

The event was emceed by Derrell Smith, a 2010 graduate and creator of 99EATS, LLC.
