Nampa Mayor Seeks Applicants for Arts & Historic Commission

Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling is looking for applicants to fill two spots on the City of Nampa's Arts & Historic Preservation Commission. This commission, made up of seven members, focuses on preserving the city's history and promoting the arts. Meetings are held monthly at Nampa City Hall.

No specific qualifications are needed, but individuals with expertise in architecture, history, urban planning, and other related fields are encouraged to apply. The selected members will serve five-year terms starting in May 2024 until March 31, 2029.

Applications are being accepted until March 19, 2024. Interested candidates can find the application form on the city's website and should submit a letter of interest to mayor@cityofnampa.us or deliver it to Nampa City Hall by 5 p.m. on the deadline. Mayor Kling will appoint the new members, who must be confirmed by the Nampa City Council before starting their term.
